Nailed It: A Sunny Summer Nail Art Tutorial
Continuing on with the summer theme that I tin can't seem to shut up almost lately, I have a summertime-inspired nail fine art project to share today. And it kind of reminds me of pool towels and beach balls – which now that I say it, probably sounds weird for a nail art project, but it's subtle, modern, and kind of cheerful.
Confession…we really shot this weeks and weeks ago (aforementioned mean solar day equally this project), but I wanted to save it until we were actually in the summer months. And here we are!

Materials:
- base coat
- nail polish in 3 contrasting colors
- summit glaze
- dotting tool
Instructions:
1. Prep your nails with a base of operations coat. Once dry, add together 1-ii coats of nail polish in your favorite color.
2. One time the nail shine is completely dry (it'southward very important that y'all give information technology enough time to dry out), starting time taping off 1/viii – one/4 inch thick lines with two pieces of washi record. Every bit shown in the photo. Modify up the area of each nail that the washi tape is attached, to brand your nail blueprint more interesting. Then, pigment a contrasting colour on the exposed part of the nail.
3. Wait for the nail smoothen to completely dry one time once again, then add a large polka dot (with a dotting tool) in a 3rd contrasting colour to one blast on each hand.
4. Once dry out, add a meridian coat. My favorite is Orly Won't Chip Topcoat. It dries super fast. And yous're done.
